If you’re looking for a bifold wallet, you could do much worse than the Thursday Boots Bifold. Here’s my review!
Thursday Boots is known for making high-quality leather goods. Whether it’s their boots, shoes, belts, or wallets, you can trust that you’re buying a thoughtfully designed product that’s built to last.
It’s sleek, slim, made of full-grain leather, and has several different color options. I chose the Tobacco color.
Review of the Thursday Boots Bifold Wallet
I’ve always preferred subtle wallets rather than gaudy ones. My dad has a huge “showpiece” wallet that he bought in Italy, and while it does look nice, it’s just too big. It would barely fit in my pocket!
For me, a well-made leather wallet that can hold some cards and cash is all I need. A bifold is a great middle ground between something minimal, like a money clip or card holder and something heavy duty like a trifold wallet.
I’ve used this Thursday bifold for almost a year, and I love it. Here’s what you need to know about it.
This bifold has all of the standard features that a wallet should and doesn’t have any fluff.
You get six card slots, a single money pouch, and two slip pockets. I’ve found that this setup was more than enough for my needs. I can carry cash, my cards, and anything else I require without the wallet becoming bulky. It fits very nicely in the front pocket of jeans, chinos, and any shorts I own.
In terms of durability, this wallet is strong. The full-grain leather has broken in very nicely, and I have no doubt that it’ll last a long time — maybe even a lifetime.
The Tobacco-colored leather was beautiful right out of the package, but it’s broken-in especially nicely. When people talk about their leather goods developing a patina, this is what they mean.
The leather looks worn but gets smoother over time.
For the price, the quality of this wallet is astounding to me. I wouldn’t need anything higher-quality. Thursday Boots is a wonderful DTC (direct-to-consumer) brand that makes high-quality products and sells them directly to customers for a reasonable price instead of selling them to a middleman that marks prices up a second time.
There isn’t much bad to say about the Thursday Bifold.
The card slots were tight at first, but they’ve broken in and feel how they should.
You’ll have to look elsewhere if you’re a stickler for RFID-blocking wallets. The Thursday Bifold doesn’t offer RFID protection.
These cons are a very small price to pay for a fantastic wallet that costs such a reasonable price.
Do I recommend the Thursday Boots Bifold? Yes! No doubt about it.
It’s my favorite wallet that I’ve ever owned. It checks all of the boxes I need in a wallet. It’s slim yet spacious, the leather looks and feels very nice, and it’s sturdy enough to make me question if I’ll ever need to replace it.
This wallet has my seal of approval. If you like the sound of it, buy it!
