What follows is a bunch of legal stuff that helps protect you (and us).
FTC Disclosures and Affiliate Information
Here at The Modest Man, I try to be as transparent as possible. I started this website because I'm sincerely interested in helping men live and work better and get more out of life. I will continue to provide awesome free content as long as I have readers who benefit from it.
Of course, I try to monetize this website in a couple of different ways to keep the lights on at TMM HQ and keep producing great content. One of the ways I monetize this site is by participating in affiliate programs.
These programs allow retailers to track where click to their websites are coming from. The retailers can then pay their affiliates (in this case, themodestman.com) a commission for any sales resulting from that referral traffic.
Themodestman.com participates in a number of affiliate programs, including: Amazon Associates, ShareASale, RewardStyle and more. I make an effort to disclose the presence of affiliate links on relevant pages/posts, but it's safe to assume links on this site are affiliate links.
I never promote anything that I haven’t used personally and/or researched extensively. My goal is to connect you with like-minded companies and high quality products that you would be proud to own and that will improve your life.
If you contribute to my affiliate earnings, I really appreciate your support. If you'd prefer not to click on affiliate links, that's okay too (it's totally up to you).
Amazon Associates Program
The Modest Man is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
