Josh Hutcherson is best known for his role as Peeta Mellark in the hugely popular The Hunger Games movies (which are just as good as the books, by the way). According to the internet, he's about 5'7″, but sources tell me he's more like 5'5″:
In most Hollywood blockbusters, the lead male actor is 6'2″ and built like a fitness model. He towers over his female counterpart (and every other character too).
It's not at all realistic. Most men aren't built like Greek gods, and in America alone, there are tens of millions of men under 5'9″.
But shorter men are rarely picked to play the hero. Which is why it's awesome that Josh Hutcherson was chosen for the role of Peeta in The Hunger Games.
Even better, his co-star Jennifer Lawrence is about two inches taller.
Of course, there's more to Hutcherson than his height. He's happens to be a very talented actor, and men and women alike recognize his charming good looks.
He also dresses well. Sometimes he wears suits, but he's usually dressed down. He's got a very laid back, casual aesthetic, and he definitely understands how clothes should fit.
Plus he wears the right colors. Notice how most his outfits are monochromatic or analogous, which are the best color schemes for short men.
If you like Josh Hutcherson's style, it's pretty easy to copy. Stick with neutral, subdued colors and basic layers (like an open button up over a t-shirt).
Avoid sharp contrast between the top and bottom halves of your body (i.e. your shirt and pants). To do this, stick with all light or all dark outfits.
Most importantly, make sure your clothes fit. If you need help with this, check out my Short Man Style guide.
