15 Signs You’re Already With the Right Man: You Just Don’t Realize It Yet

Finding the right partner in today’s world is a challenge. The right partner does not always appear with a grand gesture, shocking the world, and/or drawing all the attention to themselves. The person can be more understated and show their character through their actions. The right partner is someone who is consistent and kind, minus all the drama. The partner who is right for you is someone who creates ease and simplicity in your life and is a positive addition to your life.

Many women have the idea in their head that for a relationship to be true, there must be drama and intense feelings. This is not true. The partner you want to spend the rest of your life with is someone who can bring you peace. The partner you want to marry should make your life feel like a walk in the park. The person you have love for should make you feel elevated, should be a breath of fresh air, and should be someone who is always ready to take action and marry you.

These are some signs that can help you determine if the partner you are with is someone you feel you will marry.

You Feel Emotionally Safe with Him

A relationship that is emotionally safe allows for all the true concerns and insecurities to be shared without the partner feeling judged. If the partner is supportive and active listening, the relationship has the potential to become one that is truly mutually supportive.

He Respects your Individuality

A true partner values you for you. Restructuring who you are and your identity to be more flexible to be in his/her image is not appropriate. Sincere encouragement to pursue independence is what is needed.

You can Talk about Anything

Communication is more than just positive, it is clear. This demonstrates the significant amount of time, effort, and energy that has been put in and the relationship ultimately fosters the best to come out of each partner. If he values what you say and remains silent and continues to listen, then it is clear the relationship will exceed in the long term.

He Shows Consistency, not Confusion

A man wanting serious commitment shows clarity through consistent actions. There is no reason for confusion. He makes it obvious where you stand by demonstrating commitment through actions. He is present in the relationship and unfading in love. He is true, and he will show it by being present.

He Makes Life Feel Easier, not Harder

You should not feel like you are pulling teeth in a dating relationship. If you feel like life is more peaceful with this person, then it is clear in the relationship’s power. He brings more balance to life and more ease without the presence of unnecessary drama.

Being able to be you around a person is a true gift. Without having to constantly calculate everything you say, if you are free to speak, laugh, and show your full, real self, what you have is a true connection. He is the right man if he loves you in your true self and not in the version you feel like you have to show.

He Prioritizes You in Realistic Ways

A few big romantic gestures here and there would be nice, but the real impact is being present for the most important moments. Remembering things that are important, checking in during stressful periods, and making time for you even when things are crazy. A man who puts in the effort and prioritizes you is a man who envisions a future with you.

He Handles Conflict with Maturity

Disagreements are inevitable in any relationship. The key here, however, is how both of you approach the issue. If he remains calm, active, listens and focuses on problem-solving, instead of finger-pointing, he’s a wise man. The right man will do anything to resolve the issue, but will never go to the extremes to win the battle of the sexes.

Your Goals and Values Align

It is not essential for two people to lead completely identical lives, but there are key things that need to be in alignment, especially if the two will be committed for the long haul. Everything will fall into place if you both hold the same values, outlook on commitment, and end goals. If you and he hold opposing beliefs, you both are on the right track to laying the foundations for a strong relationship.

He Makes you Feel Appreciated

In love, it is important to feel valued. A partner shows appreciation for all the efforts you bring to the relationship, and show you that you are important. This shows that the partner really understands what it means for people to appreciate one another. Small acknowledgments can really strengthen and grow the connection and relationship.

He Supports your Growth

The right man is proud and happy to see you grow and reach new heights. He is not the type to feel insecure about your growth or feel the need to compete. Instead, he stays beside you and encourages you to move and keep striving.

He is Reliable during Tough Times

The right man shows the strongest level of commitment to the relationship. He’s always there to support and to show that he understands and cares.

You Enjoy the Quiet Moments Together

Having excitement in a relationship is great, but a strong relationship should also include calm moments, where you find comfort in silence with your partner, making dinner, or enjoying a TV show together. That kind of connection is built on comfort and companionship, and that is something that is needed in a marriage.

He Respects your Boundaries and Emotional Space

The man who is for you understands that you are your own person with your own needs, and your boundaries matter. You won’t feel pressured to step out of your comfort zone, and he won’t intrude on your personal space. However, he will remain trusting and respectful of you and your personal space. That kind of respect is something most healthy marriages are built on.

He is someone who comes to mind when you picture a future with him, and not a lot of people feel calm when thinking about a long-term commitment with someone, but with him you feel that way. He brings a sense of realism and beauty to the idea of a shared life that others may find risky or uncertain. That sense of calm is a strong indicator that you are with the right man.

Final Thoughts

Getting into a relationship is not about being perfect, it’s about finding someone who adds value to your life. The one who does not drain you, confuse you or make you feel uncertain will show up for you. He will treat you respectfully and will be consistent.

There are no big gestures in marriage, it’s the same thing and routine done everyday that people over time just get used to. This is the same thing when it comes down to partnerships. You will know a man is right when he makes you feel safe, valued and understood. Trust your gut. It could be the one you are meant to be with is already with you showing all the right signs.
