12 Questions With Michael Stoev
1. What does your personal style say about you?
I always dress to impress, no matter what the occasion is. I always try to be at least a level and a half above everyone else.
2. What is the one fashion rule you always break (or encourage others to break)?
Mixing and matching informal with formal clothing. For example, I like wearing jeans with a blazer.
3. What is your go-to outfit for feeling confident?
Beige Chelsea boots, black jeans, a black shirt, a beige blazer and a beige coat.
4. What is your favorite item in your wardrobe?
I don’t have one. My wardrobe is very versatile and I can build different outfits all the time.
5. Who do you look to for style inspiration?
The celebrities I admire are David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luke Rockhold, and Conor McGregor. There are also a lot of influencers I follow like Magno Scavo, Danielo Costa, Aaron Marino and many others.
6. Are there any trends that pique your interest right now?
Old money aesthetics, but that’s not really a trend, right?
7. How do you incorporate trend pieces into your wardrobe?
There is no winning formula, in my opinion, because I don’t like every single trend that comes out. If there are trendy shoes or
In 2024, I believe we’ll be back to the classics like old money aesthetics that include linen shirts and polos. Also, western Americana combos that include cowboy-inspired elements like leather, boots or denim, exactly like how 80s and 90s action stars used to dress.
Last, classy streetwear outfits. If these predictions happen, that will be great news for me as they are also my favorite styles to wear.
8. What advice would you give someone looking to develop their own personal style?
Focus on essentials and timeless pieces. You can’t beat the classics – time has tried and failed, and you will too!
9. What are your biggest passions outside of fashion?
To those of you who don’t know me, I’m a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA practitioner and competitor. Training is how I spend the majority of my time.
10. What is your favorite way to spend your weekends?
I might appear boring to most, but I prefer to spend my weekends focusing on my goals and spending time with my closest people. I train, read a book, watch a movie with my girlfriend, spend time with my parents, and work on developing my business and side hustles.
11. What is one thing people don’t know about you?
Naturally, I’m an introvert and I’m generally pretty shy. It took me quite some time to become a confident man. Being in a conversation with other people was the toughest battle for me to fight.
12. What are your favorite brands to wear?
I like a lot of brands, but if I have to point out some of them, then they are definitely Zara, Reserved and H&M. For sport/athletic clothes, I like Venum, Nike, Air Jordan and Adidas.
