Jibbon Key Organizer review

Key organizers can take a mess of pointy metal (your keyring) and wrap it up into a neat and tidy package.

And now that guys are catching on to how much nicer these are than traditional key rings, companies are designing ever more sophisticated key organizers. The Jibbon key organizer is a prime example.

I’ve taken the Jibbon for a comparative test run against these 8 other best key organizers, and thought it was about time to put this product in the spotlight. Let’s take a closer look together at what exactly the Jibbon is, and why it deserves a place in your pocket.

Quick Take

The Jibbon Key Organizer (buy from Amazon or buy from Jibbon) takes everything that’s great about the cult favorite OrbitKey, refines it, and makes it easier to use. It’s a sleek and streamlined way to organize your keys — and has options to add utilitarian accessories like a multi-tool or USB drive as well.

The Jibbon’s tool-free design gives it a leg up on the competition, and earns it the Modest Man seal of approval.

What Is the Jibbon Key Organizer?

Key rings leave a lot to be desired. They’re bulky, get tangled up in clothes, and make a lot of noise when you pull them out. The Jibbon Key Organizer aims to fix all of that, with a thoughtful design that lets your keys lay flat and store neatly.

Because they’ve eliminated the screw mechanism that’s favored by other key organizers, the Jibbon has a super clean look and feel.

The interior screw posts hide the key-holding mechanism inside of the leather strap, so all you have to do is add your keys and tighten the screw down with your fingers. The whole setup then clicks together into one convenient loop.

Jibbon Key Organizer Product Options

As I’m writing this, the Jibbon key organizer (buy from Amazon or buy from Jibbon) comes in four colors: A limited edition all-black, black with a natural leather interior, cocoa, and tan. All of these colors are made from vegetable-tanned Italian leather.

Jibbon multi tool

If you don’t have a ton of keys to carry around, Jibbon’s accessories are a really neat addition. The minimalist multi-tool can act as a bottle opener, flathead screwdriver, box cutter, nail file, and pry tool. And their compact 62 GB flash drive is perfect for keeping your important work files in arm’s reach.

My Experience

I’ve used all of the major key organizers out there, and in my experience, the Jibbon really stacks up well against the competition.

If you like the design of the OrbitKey, but want a more streamlined organizer, Jibbon is the way to go. And that leather finish looks really slick, too.

Who It’s For

The Jibbon organizer is great for guys whose style trends towards clean and minimalist. It comes with a 3-year warranty, too, so it’s an excellent choice for guys who demand long-term performance out of their everyday carry items.

Who It’s Not For

Being made of real Italian leather, the Jibbon is obviously not for the vegans of the world.

And if your keyring resembles a janitor’s, the Jibbon may not have the capacity that you’re looking for; it tops out at about 6 to 8 keys.

Jibbon FAQs

Before I wrap things up with a definitive verdict on the Jibbon, I’d like to take a minute to answer the most commonly asked questions about it.

How Big is the Jibbon Key Organizer?

The whole key organizer, including the D-ring attachment on the outside, measures 3.5 inches long by .75 inches wide. It can fit easily in any jean pocket.

How Many Keys Can the Jibbon Hold?

With the shorter screw installed, the Jibbon can hold 3 to 6 standard keys.

Jibbon Key Organizer keys and tool

With the longer screw, it will fit 6 to 9 keys. Once you get past about 7 or 8 keys though, it starts to look a bit silly.

Where Is the Jibbon Organizer Made?

The Jibbon is made in and shipped from Sydney, Australia.

Final Verdict

Overall, the Jibbon key organizer (check price on Jibbon’s website) is a refined and good looking way to store your keys. If you like to keep your EDC and outfits streamlined, it’s an excellent addition to your wardrobe.

Not only is it made with top quality materials that resist wear and tear, but its 3-year warranty guarantees that you’ll get plenty of use out of it.
