How tall is Bruno Mars? Who is he dating? This article answers all your questions about Bruno Mars’ height, dating life, career and style.

Like his career, Bruno Mars‘ style is larger than life. As a world-famous musician, Mars is known for his skilled dance moves, retro showmanship, and radio-friendly pop.

His phenomenal range means you’ve likely heard a Bruno Mars song at some point in your life, if not at some point this week.

His most recent singles include “Please Me” and “Finesse”. Both tracks feature hip-hop artist Cardi B.

Bruno Mars Height and Weight

His height may be one of the reasons he loves collaborating with Cardi B.

Since she’s only 5’3, Mars can easily appear taller in their music videos. Bruno Mars is reportedly 5’5 or 163 cm. He weighs 148 lbs, or 67 kg.

Bruno Mars Height Comparisons

As mentioned, if you know Cardi B’s height, you can guess that Mars is a shorter guy. There is a famous photo of Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards where she towers over him.

Since Swift is 5’10 and wearing heels, the difference is their height is quite dramatic. It wasn’t the first time Mars was the shortest person in a shot though.

The man makes no secret of his very modest height. He is frequently the shortest person in photos with other celebrities.

Who is Bruno Mars dating?

Bruno Mars has never been married. However, he is in a long-term relationship with Puerto Rican American model and actress Jessica Caban.

The two met in her hometown of NYC, when Mars noticed and approached her at a restaurant. Apparently, it was love at first sight.

Don’t be surprised if you’ve never heard of the pair. Mars is notoriously private about his romantic life. Caban rose to fame as the first winner of reality program Model Latina.

In 2014,  she had a multi-episode arc as “Sonia” on Jane The Virgin. Caban is 5’4, only an inch shorter than her man. Mars and Caban have been a couple since 2011. They live together in a Hollywood Hills mansion with their Rottweiler, Geronimo.

Bruno Mars Career Highlights

Bruno Mars first gained popularity in 2010 from the successful songs “Nothin’ on You”, a collaboration with B.O.B., and “Billionaire” by Travvy McCoy. Mars lends his vocals to the hooks on both singles.

That same year, Mars released his freshman studio album featuring hits like “Just the Way You Are” and “The Lazy Song”. In 2012, Mars released his sophomore effort, Unorthodox Jukebox.

Singles from that album include “Locked out of Heaven” and “When I was Your Man”. He won a Grammy for best male pop vocal album for Unorthodox Jukebox.

In 2016, Mars promoted his third album, 24K Magic. The R&B flavored album won seven Grammy Awards, including song, record, and album of the year.

In total, Mars has won eleven Grammy awards. He’s also won nine American Music Awards and six iHeartRadio Music Awards. To date, Mars has sold over 180 million records, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.

So, is Bruno Mars a “Billionaire”? Not yet. As of 2019, Bruno Mars is estimated to have a net worth of $150 Million.

Bruno Mars’ Personal Style

There is no doubt fashion plays a major role in Mars’ success. Like many celebrities, he uses fashion as an extension of his personal brand.

He has a signature look that’s a little bit retro, a little bit hip-hop, and a lot of fun. It’s easy to imagine his loud, look-at-me style.

Like his soaring vocals or draw-dropping dance moves, his outfits demand your attention. Bruno Mars’ looks often have the following elements:

  • Fedoras, baseball caps, or big hair
  • Loafers
  • Colorful Blazers
  • Retro influences (specifically 80s and 90s)
  • Very low necklines
  • Accessories (jewelry, belts, suspenders, sometimes all at once)
  • sneakers
  • Sunglasses (even indoors)
  • Track Jackets
  • Athleisure
  • Fur and Leather
  • Bold Patterns
  • Bright Colors
  • Sequins

The list of things Bruno Mars doesn’t wear is probably shorter. His go-to outfit formula seems to be a very low scoop neck tee under a jacket, worn with a pair of jeans and fresh sneakers, accessorized with multiple chains, topped off with a hat and sunglasses.

Bruno Mars does a few things with fashion that give him the illusion of greater height. Let’s start at the top and work our way down.

First, he normally wears a hat that is perched slightly above his head. When he’s not wearing a hat, he teases out his hair to make it a little taller. Either of these tricks adds height.

Additionally, he favors very low neck lines. Some are so low he looks shirtless under his jackets. His scoop and v-neck styles give the optical illusion of elongating the body.

Finally, his clothes fit pretty well. Occasionally, he’ll go out in something loose-fitting, but none of it overwhelms his slight frame.

Proof that one doesn’t have to be tall to have it all, Bruno Mars’ style philosophy of “more is more” is obviously working out.
