When a relationship feels electric, it’s easy to assume you’ve found “the one.” The conversations last for hours, the chemistry is undeniable, and every moment together feels charged with meaning. But intensity and compatibility are not the same thing. Intensity often comes from novelty, emotional highs and lows, or unresolved personal patterns—not necessarily from shared values or long-term alignment.
