Men Feel Loved When You Do These 15 Things for Them

Men are different when it comes to expressing love. They certainly don’t do it the way social media or the movies show it. Rather, they feel love on a deeper level and express it in subtle, quiet, and endearing ways. The key to acquiring a man’s heart lies not in exorbitant gestures but rather in consistency. Men want to be accorded affection, attention, and admiration on a consistent basis. They want to feel desired and seen by their partners and only then do they start reciprocating with a love that evinces profundity and passion. Suffice to say, men have certain needs in love that need to be fulfilled for them to feel loved and valued. Read on and learn about these needs right here.

Appreciating Their Efforts

Men notice when their partners appreciate their efforts, even the small ones. They like it when they are lauded for fixing things around the house, working diligently, constantly showing up for their partners and so on. It makes them feel valued and seen and it enhances their emotional investment in their relationship significantly.

Respecting Them

Men feel loved when their partners respect them and always extend kindness their way, even during disagreements and arguments. This respect signals to them that their partner values them and is on their side, even when they don’t see eye to eye with them.

Believing in Them

For men, the partner that believes unconditionally and unequivocally in their abilities and potential is the one that acquires the complete and undivided affection. These partners make men feel like they can take on any and every challenge, even when the world seems like it’s overrun with them.

Making Them Feel Desired

Men feel loved when their partners initiate affection and flirting towards them. They like it when their partners let them know, spontaneously, that they still want them and that the desire hasn’t left their relationship. It makes them feel like they matter to their partners and this deepens the attraction that they have for their partners considerably.

Listening Without Trying to Fix Everything

Sometimes a man just wants his partner to sit by his side and pay attention to his woes, his issues, and his lamentations, without trying to fix anything. He wants to be heard without being corrected and craves a deep emotional intimacy from his partner. It greatly increases his respect and affection towards his partner when this emotional intimacy is accorded to him.

Giving Him Peace

Nothing makes a man feel more loved than when his partner tries to imbue his home with peace and tranquility and removes all traces of chaos and uncertainty from it. Emotional calm makes him associate his partner with comfort instead of stress, a phenomenon that palpably elevates the level of intimacy and love between them.

Trusting Him

Men want their partners to trust them and not question them constantly. They don’t want every one of their intentions and thoughts to be dissected and regarded with utter suspicion. Rather, they appreciate those partners who show confidence in them and trust them implicitly in the relationship. This shows that their partner values and loves them and deeply moves them.

Standing By Them in Public

Men can tolerate being corrected by their partners in private moments. However, being undermined publicly and criticized constantly for their faults in front of others is a huge dealbreaker. It also erodes their emotional investment in the relationship. A partner who remains loyal and supportive in public is the one that attains the love of men completely.

Acknowledging Their Sacrifices

Men often express their love through their roles of being providers and responsible protectors of the house. They sacrifice their dreams, preferences, and ambitions for the sake of their relationships and partners. Giving them the recognition and acknowledgement in this regard significantly increases their appreciation and love for their partners and elevates their level of emotional investment in the relationship as well.

Letting Them Feel Needed

There is a difference between feeling needed and feeling useful. When a man is needed emotionally as well as practically, it makes him feel desired and irreplaceable in his relationship, a realization that greatly amplifies his emotional connection and love for his partner and the relationship in general.

Encouraging Their Passions

All men have passions, be it about their work, hobbies, goals, fitness, and so on. A man feels desired and loved when his partner supports these passions and gives him the quality time and space needed to engage in them without being judged or criticized for it.

Touching Them Affectionately

Sometimes men just want to be touched affectionately by their partners spontaneously, without any reasoning or aim behind it. A light kiss, a simple hug, and even the act of holding hands can deepen a man’s emotional connection significantly and make his relationship stronger and thriving with affection and care.

Speaking Kindly About Them to Others

Men might not say it, but knowing that their partners extol them and speak well of them in public makes them feel more connected and loved by them. It strengthens their sense of security and worth in the relationship and improves their emotional investment and bond within their relationship.

Choosing Them Daily

Men love consistency and that is what makes them feel valued and loved. A partner who always shows up for them, remains loyal, and chooses them and the relationship daily, even when life becomes replete with challenges, strengthens their love and appreciation in the eyes of their men.

Making Them Feel Like They are Enough

Men don’t like it when they are constantly compared to other men or are nettled towards growth that they don’t want or can’t acquire. It makes them feel like they aren’t enough and that deteriorates the love and commitment they have in the relationship. On the other hand, a partner who makes them feel like they are enough just the way they are greatly increases their emotional investment and commitment in their relationships.

Final Thoughts

When men feel like they are loved, they reciprocate with an equally intense love and their commitment deepens. They become better partners, protectors, and providers and become willing to give everything in their relationship. For men, love grows in the quiet, everyday moments when they are accorded respect, emotional safety, and loyalty.
