- Machine wash cold 86° F (30° C) with like colors. Do not bleach. Dry medium heat. Low iron, if needed.
- How do I ensure my Ascenders always look their best?
- Remember to remove immediately from washer and dryer. If needed, warm iron to remove creasing. In case a stain happens, we suggest using a mild dish soap to clean it.
- Can my Ascenders be altered?
- Yes, they can be altered as long as your tailor is comfortable working with the material.

I am generally happy with the pants and will use them as my primary travel clothing. I previously purchased two pairs of Lightweight Travel Pants (36W x 34L) that fit me well. The Ascender Chinos were nominally the same size but had 1-2 inches longer inseam. I had to have them tailored to fit. I was surprised there was so much variation in pants length.

I really liked these trousers. The fit is great and the elasticated waist is very comfortable (I am somewhat overweight) plus the stretchy material makes movement more comfortable in general.
What I really love about them is the number and functionality of all the pockets - there is still one pocket I haven't used but I aim to use it as a money belt equivalent on my next trip.
I liked them so much that I have already ordered two more pairs, in black and in matte navy.

Overall, these are good pants. They fit well with a little stretch and the cut makes them easy to dress up. I have an athletic physique and prefer fitted (definitely not skin tight) clothes so take my length criticism with a grain of salt, but I felt like the inseam was a bit short despite having what I felt was a perfect fit in the waist, seat, and quads. This would’ve been more forgivable if the ankle opening tapered a lot more. In fact, that’s my biggest criticism—if they make a fit where the ankle opening is considerably smaller, I’m all in. That’ll make the length less of a concern, and achieve the sleek look I normally go for in my cotton chinos and jeans. At this price point, I’m not in love with the idea of getting them tailored to suit my needs so hopefully they have something in the works.
